Maintenance Electrical Technician – Afternoon Shift

Glassworks (Aust) Pty Ltd is a glass processing business that manufactures products for pre-dominantly the residential building industry. With a focus on energy efficient double glazing, the future is bright with a shortage of housing and favourable regulation changes on the horizon.

We’ve invested and continue to invest in high quality, automated manufacturing equipment from Europe.

We are looking for an electrician with mechanical fitting experience that is passionate about their work and has a genuine interest in automated manufacturing environments. With a background in plant maintenance, and trade qualifications as an electrician.

The Opportunity:

The role is as a Maintenance Electrical Technician on our afternoon shift (2:20pm – 10:20pm, with two paid breaks). We are looking for individuals with some mechanical fitting experience, or who appreciate the importance of machine reliability and minimal downtime to ensure our customers receive a superior level of quality and service. A high level of problem solving and analytical thinking is required in conjunction with a technical hands-on approach.

• High hourly rate dependent on experience (inclusive of afternoon shift loading) + super
