What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting to a highly experienced and down-to-earth Finance Manager and with a dotted line to the CFO, you'll be a crucial part of the finance function. You will take on a variety of duties designed to accelerate your career:

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by maintaining the GL and overseeing financial transactions, journals, and reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts, supporting the close-out of financial periods.
• Compile and deliver detailed monthly and quarterly management reports.
• Be responsible for tax filings, including income tax returns, GST, BAS, & FBT.
• Prepare detailed cash flow reporting.
• Review and support, when needed, Accounts Payable.
• An opportunity to be involved in upcoming projects such as ERP implementation.

Who You Are:

You're an ambitious and motivated first mover from audit or business looking to move into your first role in industry. You're either fully qualified or on your way with full intention to complete, and you're an outstanding communicator - both verbal and written.

• Qualified accountant or on your way to completion
• Degree in Accounting or relevant subject
• Strong communication skills
• Confident with Excel
