The Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Scott Ward at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital! Our General Surgery Ward offers you a diverse and interesting caseload including caring for post operative patients undergoing general and bariatric, breast and endocrine, urology, vascular and dental procedures.

You will be supporting our patients during shifts. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing patient focused care.

You will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum three (3) years post-graduate nursing experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
