We are working with a QLD Govt Department to source a Data Migration Lead to join their project team for an initial six-month contract. The project you will be working on focusses on change for a business solution which manages health assessments for all coal mine workers across Queensland. The Data Migration Lead will be responsible for ensuring high quality health data is maintained within the solution through the lifecycle of the delivery project. This will include developing data migration strategies and plans, cleansing data, rectifying data issues, coordinating the necessary resources to support data quality activities and other responsibilities as necessary.

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

Previous data migration experience to Microsoft Dynamics CRM is essential.

3-5 years of experience in data cleansing, data migration, or a related role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Data, Information Systems, or a related field desirable.

Experience in Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Data Factory, Kingsway soft, SharePoint would be highly desirable.

Your role will involve the following duties:

Lead and execute data cleansing to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Identify and rectify data quality issues, including duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.

Develop and implement data cleansing strategies and best practices.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for data cleansing

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data cleansing and migration.

Plan and oversee the data quality during data migration activities

Coordinate with IT and business departments to ensure successful data migration.

Validate and verify migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data cleansing and migration processes.

Generate reports and dashboards to monitor data quality and project status.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established project within QLD Govt.
