About the role

Salisbury Fencing is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This full-time role is based in our Salisbury South facility and will involve operating and maintaining various production machines to support our fencing and fabrication operations.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and monitor production machinery

Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

Identify and report any issues or malfunctions with machinery

Assist with the setup and adjustment of machines to meet production requirements

Collaborate with the wider manufacturing team to ensure efficient and high-quality output

Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

Comply with all health, safety and quality control procedures

Loading materials on and off of vehicles

Occasional deliveries to transport yards and suppliers using our vehicles

Occasional work on job sites assisting fencing installers

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret manuals

Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean workspace

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Car licence, forklift licence, white card
