We’re partnering with a highly respected civil contractor to offer exciting opportunities for Project Engineers to join one of their newly awarded projects on a full-time, permanent basis in North Queensland.

Key role tasks:
- Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes;
- Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services
- Implement measures to sustain and improve the performance of your team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes
- Manage and monitor resources for the project
- Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation
- Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site
- Comply with health and safety requirements and promote a work environment which reflects this behaviour
Key capability requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential
- Experience with TMR Projects and / OR Australian Main roads projects is essential
- Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
- Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors;
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
- Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
