Key role tasks:

• Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes;
• Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services
• Implement measures to sustain and improve the performance of your team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes
• Manage and monitor resources for the project
• Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation
• Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site
• Comply with health and safety requirements and promote a work environment which reflects this behaviour

Key capability requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential
• Experience with TMR Projects and / OR Australian Main roads projects is essential
• Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works
• Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
• Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors;
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
• Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
