The Management of Browne Park is seeking a dedicated and experienced Stadium Manager to join our team at Browne Park as a full-time employee commencing September 2025.
As Stadium Manager, you will lead the operational, commercial, and event management activities of Browne Park, ensuring it remains a premier venue for major sporting events, concerts, and community festivals. You will also be responsible for driving new business opportunities to enhance the stadium’s profile and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure and deliver up to 5 major events annually (e.g., NRL/NRLW, Super Rugby, Concerts, Festivals).
Develop and implement strategies to attract new business and grow annual revenue.
Meet minimum attendance and financial performance targets for each event.
Maintain positive relationships with event partners, sponsors, and hirers (measured through post-event surveys).
Ensure all events comply with budget, operational requirements, and safety standards.
Deliver a minimum 90% satisfaction score on internal event evaluation reports.
Report directly to the Management Committee of The Management of Browne Park.
Performance Bonus Structure:
You will be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on:
The successful delivery and management of major events.
Achievement of agreed profit targets generated from new business secured for the stadium.
Partial bonuses may be awarded for meeting performance measures in part. Bonuses are assessed and paid annually in July, following a formal performance review by the Chair and/or The Management of Browne Park.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $135,000 including statutory superannuation.
Bonus: Annual performance bonus based on event success and new business profit.
Leave Entitlements: In line with the National Employment Standards (NES).
Salary Payments: Paid fortnightly into your nominated bank account.
Equipment: Necessary office and communication equipment provided as per approved budgets.
Key Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in stadium operations and major event management.
Strong track record in business development and revenue growth.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Sound budget management and compliance knowledge.
Flexibility to work hours required to ensure effective stadium operations.
Demonstrated experience in marketing including social media.
Your Obligations:
Perform duties to the best of your ability and in good faith.
Actively promote and protect the interests and reputation of The Management of Browne Park.
Comply with all lawful and reasonable directions from the Chair and/or Management.
Observe all relevant policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.
Work flexibly to meet operational and event requirements.
