Salesforce Software Engineer | Contract until June 2026

Salary: $900 - $1,050 incl. Super

About the Role

As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you will:

Develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, JavaScript, batch processes and triggers.

Configure the platform with custom objects, validation rules, workflows, page layouts and reusable components to meet business requirements.

Design and implement integrations via REST, SOAP, Platform Events, leveraging middleware such as MuleSoft and AWS.

Manage data migration and integrity, using tools like Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, and custom scripts; implement deduplication strategies.

Automate business processes using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.

Support CI/CD practices across Salesforce environments with Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Copado.

Conduct regular system audits, optimise code and SOQL queries, and enforce best practices to maximise performance.

About You

Essential experience:

Strong skills in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, JavaScript, and asynchronous processing.

Proven experience configuring custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.

Demonstrated success integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST, SOAP, Platform Events).

Data migration and management experience, with a keen eye for integrity and deduplication.

Automation delivery using Flow, Process Builder, or equivalent.

Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (DX, Git, Jenkins, Copado).

Proficient in performance tuning and system audits.

Highly desirable:

Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications

Salesforce Certified Administrator
