Randstad Digital is looking to speak with Application Risk Engineers to join a leading Queensland Based Energy company in Fortitude Valley.

You will be the primary contact for technical support within the Applications team.

You will possess technical expertise in application troubleshooting and maintenance, alongside strong analytical skills to assess and manage operational risks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled for necessary environments. Take ownership of managing, documenting, and developing processes, tracking actions, implementing, and testing changes related to the Service Accounts initiative and user access, while ensuring availability, reliability, and performance.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, collaborating with development and Cloud and Infrastructure teams.
• Monitor and optimise application performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Develop, own and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and findings.
• Maintain documentation on application support procedures and risk management frameworks.

About you:

• Tertiary qualification in information technology, information management, business management or a related field
• Certifications in ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library), the software development lifecycle and/or Agile methodologies will be highly regarded
• Proven experience in application support, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in cloud-based environments, and IT security practices.
