JC Hire is a locally owned equipment hire company with a proud 40-year history on the Sunshine Coast. We supply high-quality tools and machinery to builders, tradies, landscapers, and DIYers — backed by friendly service and reliable gear.

We’re currently looking for a casual Customer Service Assistant to join the team at our Nambour branch. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that would suit someone who’s enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoys helping people get the job done.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Greeting and assisting customers at the counter, over the phone, and by email

Answering hire enquiries and helping customers choose the right equipment

Processing hire contracts and payments

Coordinating with the workshop team to get gear ready for hire

Helping keep the front desk and yard tidy and organised

Occasionally delivering or collecting equipment

Jumping in to help with general admin and yard tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in customer service, hire, retail, or construction (preferred)

Great people skills and a positive attitude

Organised and able to multitask in a busy environment

Confident using computers and learning new systems

Willing to learn about our equipment and services

Forklift licence or MR licence is a bonus but not essential

This Role Offers:

30–40 casual hours per week, with some Saturday mornings
