About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service & Takeaway Attendant to join our team at TROPIC PETROLEUM' in Cairns QLD 4870. This is a casual role where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner

Efficiently processing customer orders for fuel, takeaway food and other goods

Preparing and serving food and beverages as required

Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-stocked customer service area

Handling cash and card transactions accurately and securely

Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer queries or concerns

Adhering to all health, safety and security policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the fuel or food service industry

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide a friendly and attentive service

Excellent cash handling and money management skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Good time management and organisational skills

Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work a variety of shifts

Commitment to upholding health, safety and security standards
