Provide information technology solutions to evolving business requirements. Develop business cases for technology-based solutions for Council including consultation with major stakeholders. Planning, Implement, support and manage data centre and cloud computing solutions and networking infrastructure to support Council’s diverse business activities and WAN sites.

Project manage infrastructure implementations for end-user computing, Server and Storage technologies, Cloud Computing, Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN, WAN VPNs, BGP, MPLS), Internet, Data and Network Security systems, Telephony and Audio-Visual technologies.

Configure, maintain and monitor IT investment to ensure secure and seamless operations needed to ensure business continuity.

Tertiary qualification in computing with extensive relevant experience and certification in configuration, administration, and support of Cisco Network and Wi-Fi infrastructure, Implementing, managing and supporting data centre storage and computing, backup and server administration. Experience managing and supporting firewalls and Cloud platforms such as O365.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $103,977 gross per annum

+ penalty rates apply for weekend work

+ 12% superannuation

+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary

+ annual award increase
