The Role

We’re seeking a seasoned 25 tonne city-crane operator to step into a dual Site Supervisor & Senior Crane Operator role. You’ll lead and mentor the on-site crew, executing structural steel erection works with precision and safety. This role is not just operating a crane—it’s about delivering quality, efficiency, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the 25 T slewing mobile crane (High Risk Work licence C6 required).

Plan and lead structural steel lifts and erection activities.

Supervise and guide riggers and crane crew on-site.

Develop lift plans, SWMSs, conduct pre-lift meetings, and trade coordination.

Inspect cranes, rigging, lifts, and equipment; manage maintenance schedules.

Enforce WHS / SafeWorkSafe protocols, risk assessments, and permit conditions.

Coordinate with project managers, apt for responsive site problem-solving.

What You’ll Bring

Valid High Risk Work Licence C6 for slewing mobile cranes ≥ 20 t.

Minimum 5 years’ experience operating 20 t+ cranes, with strong structural steel erection exposure.

Proven leadership experience in supervision/foreman or site-lead capacity.

Excellent communication and safety leadership skills.

Valid MR or HR heavy-vehicle driver’s licence.

Tickets in rigging, dogging, elevated work platform (EWP) and work-at-heights.

Current first aid certification and reliable, site-ready availability.
