Pro-Weld, a leading Maintenance and Fabrication company based in Yatala, is seeking a qualified Bandsaw Operator to join our team. Our long- standing operator is retiring, and we need someone who can step in and keep the the steel moving with precision and pride.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and able to thrive both in a collaborative team environment and independently when necessary. If you know your way around structural steel and thrive in a clean, high performing work shop, read on.

The Role:

Operate a structural steel bandsaw with millimeter precision - no room for guess work

Read and interpret detailed shop drawings

Load/unload steel trucks with a forklift

Handle steel lengths and sections safely and efficiently

Be hardworking and committed

Be reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions

Have a positive can do attitude

Have a neat and tidy presentation

Have experience with both workshop

The ability to perform continuous manual handling

Safety conscious attitude

What You'll Need to Qualify:

Proven experience in structural steel or fabrication environments

A current forklift Licence

Solid ability to read workshop/engineering drawings

High attention to detail - accuracy is everything in this role

Physically capable of manual handling and machine operation

Strong work ethic and safety-first mindset

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays when needed

Overtime paid after 7.6 Hrs/day and on Saturdays
