We are looking for an experienced, fun, flexible and engaged Senior Support Worker to manage one our (SIL) homes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience working with people with complex needs, including hoisting and managing challenging behaviours.

Hours: 1x FTE. Mostly Monday to Friday business hours but some early mornings, afternoons and weekends will apply.

What is involved:

Manage a team of Support Workers (supervision, probation reviews, team meetings)

Stakeholder liaison and management

A person-centered approach in guiding, coaching and supporting

In home daily activities, personal care, medication assistance, mealtime management, recreational activities

Following therapy and positive behavior plans

Applying PBSP strategies to promote customer well being

Ensuring that all compliance, as well as required documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner

Valid working rights

NDIS Screening Clearance

NDIS Worker orientation module certificate

Current WA Class C drivers’ license and own reliable car

Current First Aid Certificate
