Therapea Health's gorgeous clinic in central Werribee is home to a diverse and friendly team of Psychologists, Counsellors and Occupational Therapists who apply evidence-based practices in their ongoing support of regular clients, as well as an array of standardized assessments, NDIS reports, Behaviour Support Plans and letters of recommendation as needed.

We're looking for an experienced, kind and passionate General Registered Psychologist or a mature Provisional Psychologist who is confident working with clients of all ages and can undertake clinical assessments (particularly ASD).

Although we support clients of all ages, many are school aged children and adolescents – and are neurodiverse, and experience autism, ADHD and developmental delays.

Our clinic hours reflect our commitment to support these clients, as we are available from 10am-6pm.

Up to $2,500 in professional development/education incentives per annum for full time employees (pro-rata for part time employees);

We are flexible for the right candidate; this position is up to 4 days/week, based mainly at our Werribee clinic but some WFH hours are possible, and remuneration will be commensurate with your experience and qualifications.

Regardless of the type of employment contract however, our minimum KPIs are based on an achievable 5 x billable hours per day. This may include conducting face-to-face and/or telehealth consultations, undertaking standardised clinical assessments, behavioural support plans, and report writing.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

Has qualifications in undertaking ASD assessments (either ADOS-2 or MIGDAS

Has significant experience with clients across the age span, particularly adults with complex support needs

Enjoys the challenge of working with neurodiverse children and adolescents

Has a warm and friendly disposition, and a can-do attitude

Builds rapport and engages with clients easily, in both face to face and remote consultation settings

Is willing to be a sounding-board, and provide mentorship/advice to Provisional Psychologists on team

Has genuine alignment with our values and a strong sense of duty of care

Has an understanding of EMDR practices (preferred) or alternate methods of supporting clients navigate trauma and family violence Our team of Psychologists are compassionate and capable practitioners who provide emotional and practical support to their clients by applying an array of techniques appropriate to their skill set.

Has at least 3 years' of General Registration practice (preferred but not essential)

All of our Psychologists have access to a full suite of digital and manual Autism, ADHD, cognitive, clinical, adaptive functioning, educational and resilience assessments including the ADOS-2, MIGDAS, WAIS, WPPSI, WISC, Vineland, Conners, etc.
