Join Cafs, a values-driven organisation as our Housing and Homelessness Practitioner - TAAP. Join our Housing & Homelessness team to make a real impact supporting individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Our diverse programs span crisis support, transitional housing, tenancy advocacy, and specialist services for youth, families, and those affected by family violence. About You
We are looking for a motivated, values-driven individual with demonstrated experience working in housing or a related field. The ideal candidate will thrive when working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Skills & Attributes
- Relevant Social work Degree, Diploma in Welfare studies, youth work or related qualification
- Demonstrated experience working in Social Work, Housing or related field
- Ability to seek out options to resolve problems, anticipating conflicts before they arise and coaching others in handling conflict with both clients and colleagues
- Apply detailed knowledge of client issues and community organisations, recognising and reducing vulnerability by complying with safety protocols set by Cafs and relevant funding bodies.
