About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the team at Amplify Advisory Pty Ltd in Springfield Lakes, QLD on a part-time basis. As Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of our thriving accounting practice.

What you'll be doing

Perform daily bookkeeping and reconciliations for multiple clients

Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS in compliance with ATO regulations

Process payroll and superannuation

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files

Communicate with clients and the ATO where necessary

Support the team with reporting and end-of-month procedures

Work within workflow systems (e.g. Karbon) to manage tasks and deadlines

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience

Registered BAS Agent (or working towards registration)

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Excellent knowledge of Xero (certification preferred)

Solid understanding of GST and payroll compliance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently

Bonus Skills (Highly Desirable)

Experience using Karbon for workflow management

Familiarity with Ignition for client engagement and proposals

Proficiency in Office365 tools (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
