Part Time Bookkeeper

Superformance has been a market leader for over 45 years in the aftermarket automotive industry specializing in Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Street Machines and Pickup Trucks. We are seeking an experienced and driven Bookkeeper that can manage small - medium sized business financials to join our team in a part time position.

About the role

The following duties include but are not limited to:

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Weekly payroll
• Completing and lodging PAYG, GST & BAS
• Lodgement of superannuation
• Assistance with EOFY preparations
• Input sales and purchases, and capture/record all transactions
• Liaise with external Accountant
• Obtain exchange rates
• Data entry
• Check and action emails
• Filing
• Understanding of accounting software & CRM platforms (experience using Profit Plus an advantage)

• 5+ years experience, particularly for a small to medium sized business
• Strong initiative and supportive
• Takes ownership and responsibility of the role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Efficient and confident working independently
• Highly trustworthy
• Strong organisation skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Intermediate/advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite
• Adaptability
• Understands foreign currency dealings – not essential
