The Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit at Strathfield Private Hospital. This role will see you joining our 21-bed unit, that offers a diverse specialty caseload including urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ENT, plastics. You will be specialising in providing postoperative care to the inpatients of the ward. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two (2) years nursing experience in a surgical speciality
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Availability to work across a rotating roster which includes AM, PM and Night shifts – 7 days a week is essential and crucial for the role.

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
