You will be part of an exciting program delivering a new approach to providing AOD Services.
About the position
The After Hours Shift Supervisor provides leadership to CAAPS staff working outside of business hours and coordination of outside of hours residential programs.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
Provide leadership for outside of hours staff working in Healthy Families and Youth Services programs across a 7-day roster.
Manage after-hours rosters to ensure that residential programs are adequately staffed outside of business hours.
Coordinate after-hours programs ensuring that program participants have access to activities and support that complement days programs.
Work a flexible roster (including one weekend a month).
Your skills, experience and qualifications include:
Relevant qualifications or experience in a related field (Social Work, Psychology).
Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with Aboriginal people and their families that foster healing and recovery.
Demonstrated ability in project planning, implementation and evaluation of programs.
Excellent written communication skills and demonstrated computer skills including word processing.
Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information email, data collection/input and records management skills.
Knowledge of and commitment to principles of evidence informed practice.
Demonstrated organisational, interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
Current NT Driver’s License (minimum C Class)
Current Criminal History Check
Current Ochre Card (Category E)
Current NAPCAN Mandatory Reporting Certificate, or willingness to obtain
Ability to produce a negative drug screen result on commencement, and maintain a drug-free lifestyle
