The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects, in line with the contracted security services provided by MSS Security at the Crown Melbourne site, ensure that client and contract needs are met at all times and provide leadership and management to all MSS Security employees on site.

About the role

Opened in 2018, Palmerston Regional Hospital (PRH), forms part of the campus of Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH).

The Security Manager oversees all aspects of on-site security and serves as the primary point of contact for Palmerston Hospital staff on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and training.

Manage on-site personnel.

Handle reporting and monthly statistics.

Conduct auditing and record-keeping.

Oversee access control, key control, and CCTV monitoring.

Ensure occupational health and safety compliance.

Attend contractual meetings.

Test duress alarms and fire systems.

Skills & Experience Required

Prior experience in management and leadership within a team environment.

Certificate II in Security Operations.

Current NT Security License and Driver's License.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Proficiency with computer systems (MS Office, CCTV, report writing, data entry, audits, and fire systems).
