ATS is Australia’s most experienced live fire target systems business, with a history that dates back to the 1950’s. Today ATS is the managing contractor for the procurement, delivery, integration and maintenance of live fire target systems to the Australian Defence Force.

About the role

As a technician based out of our Brisbane office, you will draw on your expertise as an Electrician to work on a wide range of electro-mechanical targetry equipment and associated systems from a large number of shooting ranges around Australia.

You will also be responsible for attending the on-site maintenance visits around Australia, along with the preparation and organisation of maintenance related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems

Troubleshoot and repair faults in equipment and wiring

Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Work safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations

Travel to project sites as required

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Electrician or Electronics Technician (Cert III or equivalent)

QLD Electrical Licence

Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance and Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) (Mandatory)

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience with low-voltage systems and instrumentation preferred

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

A current driver's licence

White Card (Construction Induction) desirable
