Smart Electrical Queensland is a Factory Second Home Appliance Retailer/Reseller of LG, Hisense, Electrolux, Westinghouse and more, family run business based in Crestmead, Brisbane. We have several Retail Outlets inside shopping centres, specialising in Carton Damage, Factory Second Refurbished, Scratch and Dent and so on.

Due to the growing number of fridges coming through into our warehouse, we are needing a qualified refrigeration technician to test and fix the Fridges before getting sold.

The Job:

You will be in-house technician 90% of the time, repairing faulty or testing damaged goods (dent in door, scratch on side of appliance, etc.). We pay per unit you inspect/repair (more details to be explained in the interview), and we receive around 100-150 Fridges a week. So lots of fridges to be repaired/inspected. 10% will be repairing out at customers houses. Ordering Parts for repairs is easy, as we have all SAP ordering parts from Major manufacturers. Parts come next day or we mass order the parts we require often.

Testing and repair is paid the same, it is around 50% testing/easy (scratch & dent), 50% repair of refrigeration or parts.

Key Requirements:

Trade-Qualified in Electrical (Minimum, a Restricted Electrical Licence),

Current Refrigeration Licence. ARC,

Experiencing in Domestic Appliance Repairs, or refrigeration in General,

Manual Drivers Licence/Auto is ok but Manual is preferred,

A Individual that takes pride in their work, great work ethic, good communicator to Staff around them, etc.

We will offer technical training, and if you have any questions about any repairs, there are technicians on site that can always help.
