About the role

ManMade Cycle Australia has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Tech Refurb Inspector to join our team in Williamstown North, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and refurbishing pre-owned tech products to prepare them for resale. This is a crucial role in supporting our commitment to sustainable product lifecycles and circular economy initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Thoroughly inspect pre-owned tech products to assess their condition and identify any repairs or refurbishments required

Perform data wipes and factory resets to securely prepare products for resale

Photograph and catalogue refurbished products, providing detailed information for our listings

Liaise with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of refurbished tech to customers

Maintain detailed records of your inspection.

Preparing orders for customer.

Answer customer enquiries either on phone or email.

What we're looking for

Someone with good work experience (in any job) and who is a heavy user or passionate about all tech products.

Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and remedy a variety of tech issues

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for sustainability and the circular economy

Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline communication and enhance productivity.
