At Focus Machinery, we keep Victoria’s projects moving with a modern, high-performing fleet. We’re looking for an Equipment Inspector who wants to build real skills — inspecting, servicing, and preparing a variety of earthmoving equipment to our “Ready to Dig” standard. This is your chance to gain valuable experience across different machines while working in a supportive, fast-paced team.

What You’ll Do:

Inspect earthmoving equipment pre- and post-hire using checklists

Identify and report damage, wear, or missing components

Perform minor repairs and basic servicing (where time allows)

Ensure all units meet site induction and documentation requirements

Support Yard Coordinators when needed with hands-on tasks and equipment movements

Work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and safety

Keep workspaces organised and aligned with WHS standards

What You Bring:

Mechanical or equipment handling experience (preferred)

Adaptability in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Solid communication and documentation skills

Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
