About the role

Frankston Automotive Service Centre is seeking a full-time Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Frankston, Victoria. As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are safely and efficiently serviced to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults in vehicles

Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections

Test driving vehicles to ensure all repairs have been completed to a high standard

Maintaining accurate records of all work undertaken

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

1. Valid Australian Drivers Licence

2. Must be able to read & write English

3. No International Visa Applications

Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified vehicle mechanic, preferably in a workshop setting

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Own Tools

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm AND Every second Saturday
