About the role

Join the team at total vehicle care' as a full-time Diesel Mechanic in our Tullamarine, VIC 3043 workshop. In this key role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of commercial diesel vehicles and trailers, contributing to the smooth operation of our customers' fleets.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, service and repair diesel engines and associated components

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of diesel vehicles and trailers

Test and analyse vehicle systems to identify and rectify faults

Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the timely completion of all jobs

Uphold high standards of workmanship and safety at all times

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or a related field

Several years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic, ideally within the commercial vehicle industry

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

Good communication and customer service skills

A current driver's licence and your own tools
