Role responsibilities include:
Drive New Business Growth
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across construction, industrial, and infrastructure sectors in the Perth metro and regional areas.
Develop Strategic Relationships
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, project managers, contractors, and procurement teams to increase market share.
Analyse Market Trends and Opportunities
Monitor market activity, competitor offerings, and upcoming projects to shape our growth strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with Operations and Hire Desk Teams
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and deliver tailored equipment solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Achieve Revenue and Sales Targets
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with a focus on profitable growth and account retention.
Manage the Sales Pipeline
Maintain accurate records of all leads, client interactions, quotes, and opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring a strong and visible pipeline.
Represent the Business at Industry Events
Attend trade shows, networking functions, and site visits as a brand ambassador to elevate our profile and stay connected with industry stakeholders.

Proven Sales and Business Development Experience
A strong track record in driving sales growth, preferably in the hire, construction, or industrial sectors.
Excellent Relationship-Building Skills
Natural ability to connect with clients at all levels and maintain long-term commercial relationships.
Results-Driven Mindset
Self-motivated with a strong focus on hitting targets, winning work, and delivering customer value.
Strong Commercial Acumen
Ability to understand project requirements, cost structures, and margins to quote competitively and profitably.
Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills
Confident presenter with the ability to influence and negotiate with decision-makers and procurement professionals.
Industry Knowledge and Awareness
Familiarity with the Perth construction market and hire equipment landscape is highly advantageous.
Organised and Tech-Savvy
Able to manage a sales pipeline, use CRM tools effectively, and juggle multiple opportunities without missing a beat.
