About the role
Main tasks: You'll be the go-to person for the company's independent dealer network, managing relationships, supporting sales, providing product knowledge and ensuring dealers have what they need to succeed across a seasonal product range - heating in winter and BBQs in summer.
Other tasks:
- Manage a network of 30-40 independent retail dealers across VIC, TAS, SA and WA
- Visit VIC dealers regularly and travel to interstate dealers throughout the year (WA and TAS twice, SA three times annually)
- Ensure dealer displays are in line with brand expectations
- Support sell-through with product training, promotional offers and POS support
- Liaise with the internal marketing and logistics teams to ensure dealers are fully equipped
- Identify opportunities to grow the dealer base in both metro and regional areas
- Work closely with the Head of Business Development & Marketing to deliver on commercial targets
- Use a company credit card to manage travel and accommodation for interstate trips.

What you must have to apply for this role:
- Proven experience in sales, account or territory management
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate
- Strong communication skills with a solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Confident using digital tools and well organised in your approach.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Experience with hardware retailers, appliance dealers or lifestyle product distributors
- Familiarity with seasonal product cycles and working across multiple categories
- Proven ability to manage and grow independent or regional retail client relationships
- Any familiarity with heating, cooling, or BBQ products is an added bonus!
