THE ROLE:

You will support the business on a wide range of legal issues, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements. Front-end construction experience is essential, and back-end is highly regarded, but not necessary.

Provide legal advice to the business on all legal issues, including commercial, safety and compliance, procurement contracts, debt recovery, and people and industrial relations.

Lead the contract review process, including preparing and negotiating departures from contract templates, risk review and advice, insurance review, internal stakeholder engagement, completion of internal sign-offs, and execution.

Assist with litigation and the resolution of commercial disputes and workplace safety investigations.

Participate in special projects.

ABOUT YOU:

You hold a current Australian Legal Practising Certificate and have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

An understanding of the Australian construction industry

Front-end construction experience is essential, and back-end is highly regarded, but not necessary
