We're looking for a technically sharp, experienced Senior Architect to jump straight into our active NDIS housing projects. This is a 3-month full-time contract with a strong chance of extension. You’ll be working alongside our Principal Architect, Pascal, contributing at a senior level across feasibility, planning, design, and documentation.

Your leadership will help elevate documentation standards, refine Revit workflows, and drive compliance across multiple project stages. If you have experience with NDIS-specific housing design and a knack for navigating town planning conversations, you're already one step ahead.

On-site position only – remote work is not available.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Strategic Design & Oversight

• Lead feasibility, planning, and documentation reviews across residential and supported housing projects.

• Guide design development in alignment with planning overlays, NDIS guidelines, and development briefs.

• Translate concepts into practical, buildable solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Own Revit documentation standards and QA tools—set the benchmark for quality.

• Solve complex technical issues from concept through to construction.

• Support junior architectural team members.

Planning & Town Planning Collaboration

• Provide design input for feasibility and yield studies.

• Liaise with town planners and acquisitions team to validate overlays and constraints.

• Ensure early design concepts are both compliant and cost-aware.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Oversee planning permit and town planning submissions to ensure quality and readiness.

• Ensure all outputs meet internal standards, NCC codes, and specific NDIS requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years post-graduation experience in architecture.

• Strong background in residential and mixed-use developments—NDIS experience is a huge plus.

• Deep understanding of Revit workflows, template management, and documentation QA.

• Comfortable working at speed in a collaborative environment.

• Confident in compliance requirements, building codes, and planning documentation.

• Immediate availability for a 3-month full-time contract (with opportunity to extend or go permanent).

Bonus Points For:

• Prior experience designing NDIS-compliant housing or working within SDA guidelines.

• Previous coordination experience with town planning consultants.
