A well-regarded design studio with a growing presence across Australia is seeking a capable and well-rounded Associate Architect to lead aquatic facility projects from their Melbourne base. With one high-profile project currently in design and another already on site, this is an exciting opportunity to take charge of complex, community-driven architecture and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Lead aquatic facility projects across multiple states, from design through delivery

Oversee project teams and coordinate with consultants, stakeholders, and authorities

Balance hands-on project work with leadership responsibilities

Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget

Contribute to broader practice initiatives and mentor junior staff

Skills & Experience

Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience

Strong aquatic project experience is essential

Proven ability to lead projects through all stages

All-rounder skillset with strong documentation and design coordination skills

Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
