About the role

Bitpool Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Finance and Administration Manager to join our team in our office located in Eight Mile Plains, Queensland. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the business. Reporting to the executive team, you will manage core finance functions, oversee compliance requirements, and drive continual improvement across financial operations and administration.

What you'll be doing

Managing all aspects of financial accounting, including BAS, general ledger entries, and revenue recognition

Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes and providing guidance on complex matters

Leading payroll processes and ensuring adherence to leave and expense policies

Monitoring financial compliance and insurance obligations across jurisdictions

Supervising fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

Administering and improving workflows in Xero and Chargebee

Supporting strategic financial planning and reporting to the executive team

Mentoring and developing a junior team member

Key business and financial metrics reporting

What we're looking for

5+ years’ experience in a finance, accounting, or business operations role

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with proven experience managing payroll, BAS, and general ledger functions

Proven experience with Australian accounting standards and regulatory compliance

Hands-on expertise with Xero, payroll platforms, and SaaS billing systems (e.g. Chargebee)

Strong analytical and reporting capabilities

Exceptional organisational, leadership and communication skills

CPA/CA qualification (preferred but not essential)
