Fletchers Carpet Holdings Pty Ltd is a well-established, family-owned business with over 60 years of experience in the flooring industry. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant who can operate confidently in both physical and administrative aspects of the role. Alongside warehouse duties, you’ll support scheduling, compliance coordination, and phone-based communication with staff and clients.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations: Unload and organise stock, maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Logistics & Deliveries: Prepare and deliver materials to installers on-site.

Stock Control & Ordering: Assist with data entry, stock management, and ordering materials as needed.

Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Schedule servicing and monitor vehicle maintenance requirements.

Compliance Documentation: Ensure all employees and contractors have up-to-date White Cards, Working with Children Checks (WWCC), and Police Checks.

Carpet Handling & Preparation: Cut and shape carpet for installations.

Job Scheduling Support: Work closely with the logistics and installation team to coordinate job bookings and delivery timelines.

Customer Service: Communicate with customers and installers by phone to confirm deliveries or resolve scheduling issues.

Requirements:

Forklift licence (required).

White Card (required).

Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Strong attention to detail and process-driven.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Comfortable using computer systems (email, job management software, data entry).

Previous experience in the flooring or construction industry is an advantage, but not essential.
