La Cabaña is looking for a hospitality legend to step into the role of Assistant Venue Manager. About the Role
As Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll:
Support day-to-day operations across the bar and floor
Lead service with confidence and good vibes
Work closely with the Venue Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth service, happy guests, and a humming team.
Take charge of bar operations – stock control, supplier relationships, ordering, recipes, new menu creation, rostering staff.
Train and mentor FOH staff
Be hands-on – leading from the front and staying calm under pressure
You’ll Bring:
Strong bar knowledge – cocktail building, spirits and agave/ mezcal love is a big plus
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role
Natural leadership and a team-first mindset
Excellent communication and time management skills
The ability to create a great atmosphere – for both guests and staff
RSA, Approved managers and the right to work in Australia
