Venue Manager – Lead WA’s Iconic Rose & Crown Hotel

Guildford, WA | Full-Time | $95,000 – $115,000 + Super | Bonus based on achieveble KPI

Join one of Western Australia’s most historic and award-winning hospitality venues. The Rose & Crown Hotel is family owned for over 21 years and proudly recognized as an AHA National & WA Best Casual Bistro winner.

We’re seeking a confident and experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily operations across our multi-outlet venue comprising:

2 renowned restaurants & 3 Bars / Events spaces & amazing beer gardens

New Restaurants and bars opening august 2025 & early 2026

28 boutique accommodation rooms

Events, housekeeping, and maintenance teams

Your Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a team of 80+ staff, including department heads such as the Assistant Venue Manager, Bar Manager, Restaurant Managers, Accommodation Manager, and Events & Brand Manager. Your focus will be on:

Delivering exceptional guest experiences through operational excellence and service consistency

Leading staff training, induction, and fostering a positive, family-oriented workplace culture

Ensuring compliance with WA liquor licensing, RSA, WHS, and accommodation standards

Collaborating across departments to optimize workflows, manage budgets, and support business growth

About You

Minimum 5 years’ senior hospitality management experience, ideally in a multi-outlet hotel, pub, or resort environment

Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, approachable style

Proven ability to manage large teams, develop staff, and maintain high service standards

Sound financial acumen including labour cost control and operational budgeting

Passionate about people development and delivering memorable guest experiences

Excellent communication skills and knowledge of WA hospitality compliance regulations
