The Role:

As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll play a key part in daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and events. You'll be the go-to when the Venue Manager is off-site, leading by example and ensuring high service standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of a busy, well-established venue

Lead and motivate a diverse team, ensuring a consistent guest experience

Oversee stock control, staff training, compliance, and rostering

Build strong relationships with team members, guests, suppliers, and the local community

About You:

Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Assistant Venue Manager in a busy pub or similar environment

Approved Manager's Certificate and RSA (First Aid, a bonus)

Confident in leading a team in high-paced service periods

Professional, personable, and committed to hospitality excellence
