About the role

This is a full-time Accountant role based in Geelong, VIC, working for Liston Partners Accountants and Tax Agents an accounting and advisory firm. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting and reporting services to the firm's diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Preparation of financial statements and reports for clients

Performing account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to clients

Managing tax compliance and lodgements

Liaising with clients to understand their financial requirements

Providing excellent customer service to build strong client relationships

Assisting with ad-hoc accounting and advisory projects as needed

What we're looking for

Relevant university degree in Accounting.

3+ years' experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a professional services firm

Strong technical accounting skills with experience in financial reporting and analysis

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients

Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
