Light Vehicle Mechanic – Full-Time Role | $35–$45/hr + Super + Accommodation | Nhulunbuy NT

Darky’s Mechanical Service Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory.

This is a full-time role offering $35 to $45 per hour (all-inclusive) + superannuation, with accommodation provided, uniforms supplied, and work in both Nhulunbuy and remote locations.

What you'll be doing

· Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of light vehicles, including cars, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles

· Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance checks and services

· Liaise with customers to understand and address their vehicle concerns

· Maintain detailed records of all work performed

· Ensure workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained and used safely

· Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

· Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' experience

· Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Current driver's licence and clean driving record

· Relevant trade qualifications or certificates
