Darky’s Mechanical Service Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our full-time team based in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory, with work also carried out at remote client locations when required.

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of light vehicles, including cars, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles

· Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance checks and services

· Liaise with customers to understand and address their vehicle concerns

· Maintain detailed records of all work performed

· Ensure workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained and used safely

· Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Position Highlights:

· Full-time role with hourly rate between $35–$45 (all-inclusive)

· Superannuation contributions in line with legislation

Requirements:

· Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' experience

· Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Current driver's licence and clean driving record

· Relevant trade qualifications or certificates
