About the role

Diesel Logic Australia is seeking a skilled Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ceduna, SA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to on-highway equipment on the EP and Far West Coast.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a wide range of engines with a focus on Cummins, Cat and Detroit.

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues to get equipment back up and running quickly

Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide efficient, high-quality service

Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Qualified heavy diesel mechanic

Hands-on experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, Kenworth and Eaton highly regarded.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve complex equipment issues

Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands-on practical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide efficient and effective customer service

Current driver's licence and ability to travel to customer sites as required

Comfortable with occasional travel and working away from home for up to a week at a time.
