About the role

This full-time Sheetmetal & Pipe Programming role at Spiral Duct Australia Pty Ltd in Braeside, VIC is a vital part of our manufacturing and logistics operations. You will be responsible for programming and scheduling our production equipment using multiple software applications to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our high-quality spiral duct systems.

What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery targets

Program and operate Camduct and pipe profiling software to produce a range of duct sizes and shapes

Coordinate the workflow of the manufacturing team to optimise productivity and resource utilisation

Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements

Collaborate with the sales, engineering and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Maintain detailed records and provide reporting on production activities

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in a production scheduling or programming role, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Strong technical sheetmetal aptitude with ductwork experience and the ability to program and operate production equipment like Camduct with CAD proficiency a strong advantage.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to optimise production workflows

Proficient in using production planning and data analysis tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
