About the role

COSLOR CARE CLINICAL AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES ' is seeking a full-time Aged or Disabilities Carer to join our dedicated team in Strathalbyn, WA 6530. In this rewarding role, you will provide compassionate care and support to our elderly or disabled clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities to promote their wellbeing

Monitoring clients' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals

Engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversations to enhance their social and emotional wellbeing

Providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all clients

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards

May do shopping and run errands

May live in with the the person

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a similar field

Experience in providing person-centred care to elderly or disabled individuals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families

A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others

Proficiency in manual handling and the ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks

A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to client homes as needed
