As part of the organisation’s next phase of growth, we are seeking a technically proficient and sales-driven professional to join their Western Australia team in a combined Sales and Technical Support capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, security integrators, and AV contractors.
- Actively source and grow new business opportunities through outbound outreach and relationship-based sales.
- Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales technical support, including system design, product configuration, and integration advice.
- Advise on a wide range of technologies, including CCTV systems, access control, alarms, network infrastructure, and automation products.
- Respond to customer enquiries with accurate product knowledge and assist in troubleshooting where required.
- Prepare tailored quotations, proposals, and technical documentation for clients.
- Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences and optimise service delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and product innovations to confidently educate customers and drive technology adoption.
- Accurately manage and track leads, customer engagement, and pipeline activity through CRM and ERP systems (e.g., HubSpot, Acumatica).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2+ years’ experience in sales or technical support within the electrical, AV, or electronic security industry.
- Strong working knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control, structured cabling, and network products.
- Experience selling into or working with electrical wholesalers, installers, integrators, and contractors.
- Exposure to leading product lines such as Milesight, Ajax, or Reyee highly advantageous.
- Proficient in using business software platforms, such as CRM and ERP systems.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to a diverse customer base.
- A self-starter who is highly motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
