About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Plant Mechanic to join the team. You will work primarily on tunnel boring machinery but will also carry out maintenance on other plant and heavy vehicles as required. If you have strong mechanical experience and the confidence to take on new equipment and adapt quickly, this is a great opportunity to build expertise in a niche, high-value area of construction.

The role is primarily based in Brisbane, with regular opportunities to work in Sydney and Melbourne.

What we’re looking for:

Strong mechanical background and experience with hydraulics is ideal

Good attitude and willingness to learn new equipment

Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed

Commitment to safety and high standards of workmanship

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical if required

Must supply own hand tools (major equipment provided)

Important to know:
We work on a flat hourly rate basis with plenty of hours available. When working away from home, accommodation is provided along with a living away from home allowance. Rates typically range from $50–$56/hr, with up to $60/hr considered for exceptional experience.
