About the role

As a Field Service Diesel Mechanic at Falcon Diesel, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for a variety of equipment and machinery in multiple different fields. This full-time role is based in Brisbane QLD 4000.

Based at our workshop in Brisbane QLD 4000.

What you'll be doing:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel engines, generators, and other heavy equipment

Provide support to commercial marine, power generation, mining, and civil customers locally and in remote locations.

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Provide emergency breakdown support and respond to service calls promptly

Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a seamless customer experience

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for:

Relevant trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar field service role

exposure to engine repairs and diagnostics

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Strong communication and customer service orientation

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required

Good understanding of 12V/24V electrical systems.

OEM background or training highly regarded.

Ability to work remotely and in a field environment.

Willingness to undertake away work when required.
