My client is seeking applications from experienced HSE Advisors for an immediate start to work on multiple upcoming Rio Tinto and BHP shutdowns.

Supporting the Projects Team you will work across various sites in the Pilbara, assisting in safely executing shutdown works.

These roles are critical to ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance during high-risk maintenance and shutdown activities.

The Role

• Provide on-site HSE support during shutdowns, including inductions, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with Rio Tinto and BHP safety procedures and statutory regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations, audits, and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Promote a positive safety culture through leadership, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with project supervisors, contractors, and client representatives to maintain alignment on safety expectations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of site-based HSE experience, ideally within mining or shutdown environments.
• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS).
• Experience working on Rio Tinto and/or BHP sites.
• Up to date Rio Tinto/BHP inductions is a must
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Construction White Card.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
