This role is for the generalist lawyer with 3-5 years PQE ready to step into a position where your thinking, initiative and judgment are trusted and valued. You’ll take the lead on quality matters across litigation, property, estates and commercial law, backed by a Principal who backs you.

About the Role

Lead matters from start to finish in multiple areas of general practice that align with your experience.

Appear in court and at mediations.

Liaise directly with clients, counsel and external parties.

Draft advice, correspondence and court documents.

Build relationships with the local business community, our partners, clients and counsel.

Contribute to matter strategy and advise on risk, value and commercial outcomes.

Work across both transactional and litigation matters, often simultaneously.

Take ownership of your work under the supervision of a highly experienced and respected Principal.

Collaborate with the Principal on complex matters and key client relationships.

Identify cross-practice opportunities to deliver more holistic client solutions.

Contribute to a positive team culture and help shape how we work and grow as a firm.

Experience and Qualifications Required

3–5 years post-admission experience in a generalist setting.

Current NSW practising certificate.

Strong, clear communicator who knows how to build trust.

Strong drafting and analytical skills across varied legal contexts.

Experience in at least three of the following areas: family law, property law, wills and estates, personal injury, commercial law.

Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise independently.

A proactive mindset and genuine interest in contributing to firm growth.

Ability to deliver legal advice in plain English.

LEAP and PEXA experience a bonus.
