At Edutemps, we’re partnering closely with a well-established national RTO delivering essential training in the first aid and workplace compliance sector. As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Training and Operations to lead training delivery, operational systems, and contract execution across their national footprint.

This executive-level role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-quality operations across multiple brands and third-party partners. You’ll drive performance outcomes, oversee internal teams, and play a key role in aligning operations with business strategy.

This RTO is nationally recognised for delivering accredited training programs to both government-funded and commercial clients. With a reputation for practical, outcomes-focused learning and strong industry partnerships, they are expanding their team to support increased delivery and compliance demands across Australia.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a key executive role where you can shape operational strategy and national training delivery at scale.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Oversee training coordination, student administration, onboarding, and delivery systems

Lead a high-performing operations team across training, admin, and support functions

Manage a national network of over 200 trainers and third-party providers

Drive quality and compliance across Smart & Skilled, GCIT, DoE, and other funding contracts

Track KPIs for student progression, completions, and contract performance

Oversee client onboarding, large partner relationships, and account management

Lead new product launches and ensure trainer and resource readiness

Optimise systems and reporting (SMS/LMS e.g., aXcelerate, Ammonite, its4u)

Ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and relevant contract obligations

What You’ll Bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Education, or Operations

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122 or higher)

10+ years in senior RTO/VET leadership roles

Proven experience managing national delivery and partner networks

Deep understanding of RTO compliance frameworks and government funding

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and systems optimisation experience

Strategic thinker with excellent reporting and performance tracking skills
